The DHL recently launched the DHL Innovation Challenge 2017. This year´s topic is the Sharing Economy, where companies such as UBER and Airbnb have already disrupted their respective industries by sharing access to privately owned assets with a network of users. This makes DHL beg the question, will logistics be next? DHL would like to encourage students to submit their original ideas or practical solutions that solve logistics problems by leveraging the business model and spirit of the Sharing Economy.

Why should students participate?
The three finalists will be invited to Germany to pitch their idea to 180+ supply chain professionals and thought leaders at the DHL Innovation Day, the industry´s flagship innovation event. The winner will be invited to realize their idea through a joint proof-of-concept with DHL – and win a prize of €5,000.

Ideas and concepts can be submitted until September 16th, 2017.
